• Early Childhood Education
  By working with both young children and their families, help create a path for success for children in the earliest years of their education. Graduates work with diverse populations of varying cultures, languages, and abilities.

  Graduate ready to teach in a diverse elementary classroom by working with classroom teachers and university faculty who collaborate to prepare the next generation of educators. Choose from our Virginia-based program or an international program for those intending to move overseas.
• Fine Arts Education
  Inspire the next generation through teaching art, music, and theater.
• Foreign Language and English as a Second Language Education
  With faculty who focus on teaching culturally and linguistically diverse learners, be prepared to introduce students of all ages and backgrounds to new languages and cultures.
• Health and Physical Education
  Make an impact on students of all ages by instilling the value of a healthy lifestyle and sharing a love of movement.
• Secondary Education
  Teach your favorite subject to middle and high school students. Our faculty are not only experts in their fields but also emphasize social justice, advocacy, and teacher leadership, and believe that teachers impact the future.
